Task Avoidance: My Secret Superpower

Confession time: I love a bit of task avoidance.
Like, really love it.

As a creative and a highly organised person (yes, I’m claiming Unicorn status here), I often find myself in a tug-of-war between “get it done” and “ooh, shiny idea!”

Sometimes they clash.
Sometimes… they create magic.

Take now, for example. I’m prepping for a two-day art event (cue: full to-do list mayhem).
Things I should be doing:

✔ Planning the space
✔ Inventory
✔ Labelling
✔ Pricing
✔ Packaging
✔ Descriptions
✔ Contingency planning (because if it rains, I might cry…)

But guess what?

Task Avoidance Alert
While “doing inventory” (air quotes VERY intentional), I stumbled across some old paintings and thought, “These need a glow-up.”

Boom. Two new pieces, born from procrastination.

Task avoided. Creativity unlocked.
Honestly? 10/10, would avoid again.
