Contemporary Abstract Art

I am a Surrey based contemporary abstract artist.  

Art is a creative process that is hard wired into my DNA.  I decided to build my own home studio so that I could have a dedicated space with a view of the natural and built environment to work

  I use many different mediums, such as ink, acrylics and oil pastels while actively exploring others.

I particularly like the use of texture in my work while my style and mediums naturally evolve.

The abstract art I create is very much linked to my life experiences, thoughts and emotions.

I feel grounded when I paint and the sense of calm in a beautiful space allows me to express through the paint textures and colours that are at my fingertips.

I rarely start a piece with anything in particular in mind, preferring to let things unfold intuitively.
